LEGO Shrek minifigures codes: full list for US, UK and EU boxes

LEGO Shrek minifigures codes: full list for US, UK and EU boxes

Checked on 22 October 2026. The LEGO Shrek minifigures (set 71053, sold as LEGO Minifigures Shrek Series and often called the Shrek CMF) come in 12 blind boxes, and the Data Matrix square printed on the bottom of each box tells you which figure is inside. This page is the full LEGO Shrek minifigures code list: one seven-digit code per figure on North American boxes and two per figure on boxes made for Europe and the UK, 36 codes in total. Every code is matched to its figure by at least two scanner databases that keep separate lists. Puss in Boots, for example, is 6634905 on a US box and 6627610 or 6634884 on a European one. You can tick off the figures you already own right under the list or on the LEGO Minifigures Shrek Series page.

LEGO Shrek minifigures codes for US boxes

Boxes packed for North America use one run of numbers, 6634900 to 6634911, and each number belongs to one figure. We looked up all twelve on 22 October 2026 in three tools that each keep their own database: the free Minifig Scanner on Jay's Brick Blog, the CMF code lookup on brick'em and the CMF scanner on Brickbank. All three returned the same figure for every code, and brick'em and Brickbank both tag the run as North American.

LEGO Shrek minifigures codes for UK and EU boxes

Boxes for Europe and the UK are packed in LEGO's Czech plant, and a figure's number there differs from the North American one (BrickFact, brick'em). The Shrek series has two European codes per figure, one from the 6627605–6627616 run and one from 6634879–6634890; either of the two means the same figure. Both runs are in Brickbank's list, and every one of the 24 codes returned the matching figure in the Jay's Brick Blog scanner, which says it covers US, UK and EU boxes. brick'em's lookup did not know these codes on 22 October 2026. Only Brickbank labels them as European, so the region rests on one source, while the code-to-figure match rests on two.

We have not found a source that says which of these runs Australian and New Zealand boxes carry. If you scan a Shrek box anywhere and get a seven-digit number that is in neither table, it isn't in any of the lists we checked.

How to read the code on a LEGO Shrek box

Step 1: find the square. Turn the box upside down. Beside the long barcode sits a small square, a Data Matrix code that most collectors call the QR code. The barcode only identifies the series and is the same on all twelve boxes (BrickFact).

Step 2: scan it. Use a minifigure scanner. The first seven digits of the result are the figure code, so compare them with the tables above.

Step 3: check the plant. A short five-character production code also comes with the square, and its fourth character names the plant: S for the Czech Republic, R for Mexico (BrickFact, brick'em).

A standard phone camera often struggles to focus on a square this small. Jay's Brick Blog suggests covering the barcode with a finger so that only the square is in view, and on an iPhone holding the phone still until it focuses. The same blog warns that LEGO has been known to switch codes, so newer batches may carry numbers that aren't listed yet; that is why both tables carry a date. We will add any new Shrek codes once two sources list them.

Feeling the box doesn't work any more: since Marvel Studios Series 2 in 2023 the figures sit loose in cardboard, not in foil bags you could squeeze (BrickFact, Jay's Brick Blog).

How many LEGO Shrek minifigures are there?

Twelve boxes and thirteen characters. LEGO's product text promises "1 of 12 collectible characters" per box (quoted by StoneWars on 23 July 2026), Jay's Brick Blog lists the same twelve, and BrickOwl's complete set 71053-13 counts 12 minifigures. Fiona and Donkey share one box, and the Three Blind Mice ride along as accessories, one each with Puss in Boots, Pinocchio and the Big Bad Wolf.

The number 14 you may see on some listings counts catalogue entries, not figures. BrickOwl numbers the figures 71053-1 to 71053-12, then uses 71053-13 for the complete set and 71053-14 for the sealed box of 36. BrickLink numbers the same twelve figures colshr-1 to colshr-12, in the same order, and keeps 71053-1, 71053-2 and 71053-3 for a random box, the complete series of 12 and the box of 36. Search BrickLink for 71053-2 and you get the full set, not Puss in Boots.

Shrek (US 6634901; UK/EU 6627606 or 6634880). A big grinning head, a burlap shirt and a separate skirt piece below the belt (The Brick Fan, BrickBanter). His storybook is a cover with two page tiles, one of them printed “Once upon a time”.

Fiona and Donkey (US 6634902; UK/EU 6627607 or 6634881). Fiona is in her ogre form and a dark green dress, with head and hair moulded as one piece (The Brick Fan). Donkey is a two-part figure, body plus head, which makes this the only box with two characters.

Dragon (US 6634900; UK/EU 6627605 or 6634879). The one figure with no accessory at all. The Brick Fan found her more magenta than on screen, with darker red wings and soft ears; BrickBanter says the wings and tail are gargoyle parts in a new colour.

Gingy (US 6634906; UK/EU 6627611 or 6634885). Nougat-coloured, with purple gumdrop buttons, white icing and a lollipop. From early September some heads cracked where they press onto the torso (Jay's Brick Blog, StoneWars); on 7 October 2026 LEGO said affected owners can get a free replacement from LEGO Customer Service. StoneWars gives the head as part 6606910.

Pinocchio (US 6634910; UK/EU 6627615 or 6634889). His pointed yellow hat and hair are one piece with the head, and the legs are dual-moulded with brown shoes. He brings one of the Blind Mice.

Big Bad Wolf (US 6634904; UK/EU 6627609 or 6634883). Dressed in Grandma's pink nightgown, with a skirt piece where the legs would be, and carrying the third Blind Mouse: you need him, Pinocchio and Puss in Boots to complete the trio.

Lord Farquaad (US 6634908; UK/EU 6627613 or 6634887). Short legs, gold print on collar and belt, and a two-sided face with an evil grin on one side and a worried look on the other (The Brick Fan). The Magic Mirror is a shield with a minifigure head mounted in it.

Thelonious (US 6634903; UK/EU 6627608 or 6634882). Farquaad's executioner in black and grey, his head a plain black hood with no face. He holds a microphone and the “Aawww” cue card.

Puss in Boots (US 6634905; UK/EU 6627610 or 6634884). The plumed hat is moulded onto the head and the boots are printed on short legs; in the box are a sack and a Blind Mouse. This is not the Puss from set 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots, who wears a cape (BrickBanter).

Fairy Godmother (US 6634909; UK/EU 6627614 or 6634888). Blue with silver detail and a two-sided face with half-moon glasses (The Brick Fan). She carries a wand and a printed business card tile.

Prince Charming (US 6634911; UK/EU 6627616 or 6634890). Fleur-de-lys print on torso and legs (The Brick Fan), a two-sided face that smirks or scowls, and a sword.

Merlin (US 6634907; UK/EU 6627612 or 6634886). The wizard from Shrek the Third, in a blue robe with a printed hat, a beard over his grin and grubby socks (The Brick Fan). His accessories are two trans-blue magic blasts.

Box of 36, complete set and the rarest LEGO Shrek minifigure

A box of 36 usually holds three complete sets, so every figure three times (Jay's Brick Blog, StoneWars). LEGO doesn't mark any Shrek figure as rare, and we have no resale prices from two sources, so this guide names no rarest or most valuable figure. At the launch prices, twelve boxes with no repeats cost 12 × $4.99 = $59.88 in the US or 12 × £3.49 = £41.88 in the UK, and a full box of 36 works out at 36 × $4.99 = $179.64.

LEGO Shrek minifigures release date and price

The series went on sale on 1 September 2026 at $4.99, £3.49 or €3.99 a box (Jay's Brick Blog, StoneWars), and LEGO sells it on LEGO.com. LEGO.com UK still asked £3.49 a box on 18 October 2026. Whatever the shop, the figure in each box is random, which is what the codes above are for.

Keeping track of the Shrek series on ColleX

The marks under the code tables and on the Shrek Series page are one list, so a figure you mark as “Have” here shows there too. Series 29 boxes have their own codes, two per figure, in our LEGO Minifigures Series 29 codes guide; the animal series is covered in the Series 28 codes guide, and every set we track is in the LEGO section.

Frequently asked questions

What is the LEGO Puss in Boots minifigure code?
On a US box Puss in Boots is 6634905. On boxes for the UK and Europe he is 6627610 or 6634884, depending on the batch. Jay's Brick Blog's scanner, brick'em and Brickbank agreed on the US code, and Brickbank and Jay's Brick Blog on the European ones (checked 22 October 2026).

Is there a full LEGO Shrek minifigures code list yet?
Yes. As of 22 October 2026 we count 36 codes for the twelve figures: 6634900 to 6634911 on North American boxes and two codes per figure on UK and EU boxes. Each code was matched to the same figure by at least two independent scanner databases.

Are LEGO Shrek codes different in the UK and Europe?
Yes. European and UK boxes come from LEGO's Czech plant and use their own numbers, with two possible codes per figure, while North American boxes from Mexico use one. The fourth character of the short production code next to the square shows the plant: S for the Czech Republic, R for Mexico.

How many LEGO Shrek minifigures are there?
Twelve boxes with thirteen characters, since Fiona and Donkey share a box, plus the Three Blind Mice as accessories. Listings that show 14 are counting catalogue entries such as BrickOwl's complete set (71053-13) and box of 36 (71053-14), not extra figures.

Why is the LEGO Shrek box code not working in my scanner?
Usually the camera is reading the barcode or can't focus on the small square: cover the barcode and hold the phone still. If the scanner reads a number that is in neither table, it may come from a newer batch: Jay's Brick Blog warns that LEGO has been known to switch codes.

Which LEGO Shrek minifigure is the rarest?
None is rare by design. LEGO marks no figure as rare, and a box of 36 usually holds three of each, according to Jay's Brick Blog and StoneWars. Without resale prices from two sources we don't name a most valuable figure.

What should I do if my LEGO Gingy's head is cracked?
Contact LEGO Customer Service. On 7 October 2026 LEGO said it had found the cause and that affected fans can request a replacement free of charge (Jay's Brick Blog, StoneWars); no date for the new heads had been given then.

Can I trade duplicate LEGO Shrek minifigures on ColleX?
Mark a spare figure as “Have” with a quantity of 2 or more, and the ones you're missing as “Want”. ColleX then shows collectors who have your missing characters or need your spares; you agree the swap in chat, and where the ColleX Market is open in your country you can also list duplicates for trade there.
