Terms of Use

Updated: 2 November 2026

1. About the Platform

ColleX is an online platform for collectors: track your collections, mark duplicates and wants, and find other collectors to trade with. The service is provided by Volodymyr Konoval, Ukraine (“we”). By using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

We do not sell anything. Prices shown on the site are reference values for an item drawn from public sources, not an offer to buy or sell. Users’ money never passes through the Platform.

2. Accounts

  • Most features require an account. You agree to provide accurate details and keep them up to date.
  • You can create an account from the age of 13. If you are 13 to 15, use the Platform with the knowledge of a parent or guardian; if the law of your country requires parental consent for online services, that consent is what you need. Children under 13 may not have an account: if we learn of one, we will delete it.
  • You are responsible for keeping access to your account safe and for everything done through it.

3. Conduct

On the Platform you must not:

  • publish abusive, unlawful, fraudulent or misleading content;
  • use the Platform for spam, bulk messaging or automated harvesting of other people’s data;
  • attempt to disrupt the service, bypass security limits or gain unauthorised access;
  • publish content or behave in a way that endangers the safety of children;
  • present yourself as ColleX or its moderation, including naming third-party channels, groups, accounts or pages “ColleX” or presenting them so that they could be mistaken for official ones.

On the market you must not offer, seek or hand over:

  • counterfeits and replicas — non-genuine copies of branded items — or any copy passed off as the original;
  • stolen or unlawfully obtained items;
  • items that infringe someone else’s intellectual property, including home-made goods bearing other people’s images, trade marks or logos;
  • weapons, their parts, ammunition and explosives;
  • narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances and medicines;
  • adult material;
  • live animals;
  • items you do not have — listings meant only to obtain an advance payment or other people’s contacts;
  • anything else whose sale or shipping is prohibited by the law of the seller’s or the buyer’s country.

What we do when these rules are broken, and how to contest it, is set out in sections 6 and 7.

4. Trades and listings

ColleX only provides the tools that let collectors find each other and agree on a trade. Sellers and buyers on ColleX are private individuals; ColleX is not a party to any trade or sale, does not hold items, does not take or pass on payments and does not guarantee the condition, availability or delivery of anything. Payment is settled directly between users, outside the Platform.

  • All details of a trade — the condition of the items, the shipping method and its cost, the timing — are agreed between the collectors themselves.
  • Be careful: check who you are dealing with, do not send money in advance to strangers, do not move to other messengers to pay, and agree on a safe way to hand items over — for example cash on delivery or a payment with buyer protection. The risk of a trade stays with its parties.
  • The trust rating and trade history are guidance, not a guarantee.
  • Consumer rights — such as the right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days and the seller’s legal guarantee under EU law — apply when you buy from a trader. As a rule they do not apply to deals between private individuals. If you sell as a trader (as part of your business), tell the buyer so before the deal and meet a trader’s obligations under the law of your country.
  • If you are under 18, enter into deals involving money or shipping — buying, selling, trading by post — only with the consent of a parent or guardian.

5. Your content

You keep the rights to what you publish (names, descriptions and photos of your own items). By publishing it you grant the Platform a non-exclusive right to display that content as part of running the service.

Publish only what you have the right to: your own photos and texts, or someone else’s with the author’s permission. How a rights holder can ask us to remove or credit material is explained on the Copyright page: https://www.collexstash.com/en/copyright.

6. Reporting illegal content and breaches

If you believe that a listing, profile, list, comment or other content on the Platform is illegal or breaches these Terms, please let us know. Anyone may do so, not only registered users.

How to report. Tap “⋯ → Report” on a listing or profile, or write to collexstash@gmail.com. Without signing in, you can report by email. For copyright infringement in a photo or text, follow the procedure at https://www.collexstash.com/en/copyright.

So that we can assess your notice, please include:

  • the exact address of the page (link) or the user’s handle;
  • why you consider the content illegal or in breach of these Terms;
  • your name and an email address for our reply (not required in a notice about a threat to a child’s safety);
  • a statement that you believe in good faith that the information in the notice is accurate and complete.

Every notice is read and decided by a person; the automated checks described in section 7 only help the moderator spot breaches. We confirm receipt within 3 working days and inform you of our decision normally within 14 days. If we need more information to decide, we will ask you for it. We do not tell the person the notice is about who submitted it.

7. Restrictions and how to contest them

We may restrict access to content or to an account where the content is illegal or breaches the rules in section 3, where a user deceives others in a trade, or where a user attempts to harm the operation of the service.

Depending on the seriousness of the breach, we may:

  • hide or remove a specific piece of content — a listing, comment, list or profile details;
  • issue a warning — no restrictions, a notice only;
  • restrict access to the market for 7 or 30 days or indefinitely: no new listings or trade proposals, active listings are taken off the market (you can switch them back on once the term ends), while your collection and lists keep working;
  • block sign-in to the account, temporarily or indefinitely; active listings are then taken off the market (you can switch them back on once the term ends);
  • delete the account — for a serious or repeated breach.

Automated means. The system flags suspicious activity for the moderator: a match with the numbers or identifiers of previously restricted people; messages with a card number or a request for advance payment; unusually frequent cancelled deals. Such a signal does not restrict anyone by itself — a person decides. There is one exception: if, at sign-up, the email address, Google account or phone number matches the identifiers of someone previously blocked for a serious breach, sign-in to the new account is blocked automatically; at your request a person will review that block (how to contest is set out below).

While a report is being reviewed, moderation may post in the chat between the parties to a deal and warn the other party about the risk. To other people we state only verifiable facts — that reports have been received about the user and their market access is restricted while we review — without accusations and without their personal data.

We notify you of the decision by email to the account address: what has been restricted and for how long, which facts the decision rests on, for what reason (the provision of these Terms or of the law) and how to contest it. Such decisions are always taken by a person, not by automation.

The decision is also shown on the site — in the bell and on the decision page, where you can appeal it with the “Appeal the decision” button.

If you disagree with a decision — about your own content or about your notice concerning someone else’s — reply to the decision email or write to collexstash@gmail.com within 6 months. The complaint will be reviewed by a person, and we will reply within 14 days. If the decision was wrong, we will reverse it as far as is technically possible. This does not limit your right to go to court.

8. Point of contact

The single point of contact for users, and for the authorities of EU Member States, the European Commission and the European Board for Digital Services, is the email address collexstash@gmail.com. Languages of communication: Ukrainian and English.

9. Disclaimer and liability

The Platform is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Reference prices may differ from the prices of actual deals. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from trades between users or from the Platform being temporarily unavailable.

These Terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. Nothing in these Terms limits the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of the country where you live.

10. Ending access and changes to these Terms

You can delete your account at any time in profile settings. We may update these Terms; the current version is always on this page, and we will announce material changes on the Platform. By continuing to use the Platform after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

11. Contact
