Gingy
Gingy (71053-3) is the gingerbread man from Shrek in LEGO Minifigures Shrek Series: a nougat-coloured figure with purple gumdrop buttons, white icing on the torso and legs, and a swirly lollipop. BrickBanter notes that his head is a new mould, which makes him more than another LEGO gingerbread man.
In ColleX collections, 10 collectors have it and 4 are looking for it. 1 of them has a duplicate.

About this item
Why the LEGO Gingy head cracks
Gingy’s head is a tight fit on the torso’s neck, and its thinnest point develops white stress marks, sometimes cracks. Jay’s Brick Blog collected the first reports on 5 September 2026, days after release, and StoneWars covered the same problem on 7 September.
Free replacement heads
On 7 October 2026 LEGO said, in a statement first published by New Elementary and quoted by Jay’s Brick Blog and StoneWars, that it had found the cause and was producing replacements affected fans can request free of charge. No date was given then; according to StoneWars, the Gingy head (part 6606910) had already appeared in LEGO’s broken-parts request form on 21 September.

FAQ
How do I get a replacement Gingy head?+
Contact LEGO Customer Service: LEGO’s statement of 7 October 2026 says affected fans can request a replacement free of charge. Jay’s Brick Blog also urges owners to report the stress marks, because LEGO tracks such complaints.
Does Gingy come with anything?+
Just his lollipop, a large swirl on a stick (BrickOwl, The Brick Fan, BrickBanter). The Brothers Brick was glad LEGO made him a regular-size minifigure rather than a tiny one.
