About the set LEGO Minifigures Shrek Series

LEGO Shrek minifigures (71053): all 12 figures in the Shrek Series with their box codes, release date and price, and the Gingy head-crack fix.

LEGO Minifigures Shrek Series — set 71053, the Shrek CMF — is a run of 12 collectible minifigures from DreamWorks’ Shrek films, each sealed in its own box. It came out on 1 September 2026, and LEGO.com UK was still selling it at £3.49 a box on 18 October 2026. The ColleX catalogue lists all 12. The checklist, in LEGO.com’s own names: Shrek, Fiona and Donkey (one box for the pair, with Fiona in her ogre form), Pinocchio, Gingy, Dragon, Puss in Boots, Thelonious, Big Bad Wolf, Merlin, Lord Farquaad, Fairy Godmother and Prince Charming. The Three Blind Mice hide among the accessories, one each with Puss in Boots, Pinocchio and the Big Bad Wolf, so a full set brings all three. Shrek carries a storybook with swappable pages, Lord Farquaad the Magic Mirror, and Thelonious, Farquaad’s executioner, his “Aawww” cue card. Gingy has had a rough launch: his head is a tight fit on the torso, and Jay’s Brick Blog and StoneWars reported white stress marks and cracks from early September. Do the Shrek boxes have codes? Yes. Since Series 25, every box carries a square Data Matrix code on the bottom, often called the QR code, and the first seven digits a scanner reads identify the figure. The Shrek Series has 36 such codes, three per figure: one on US boxes (6634900–6634911) and two on boxes for the UK and Europe (6627605–6627616 and 6634879–6634890; only Brickbank labels these two runs as European). On 22 October 2026 every code pointed to the same figure in at least two of three independent scanner databases — Jay’s Brick Blog, Brickbank and brick’em — and the Box codes table on this page lists them figure by figure. Reading the code step by step, why there are 12 boxes but 14 catalogue numbers, and a close look at each figure are in our LEGO Shrek minifigures codes guide. The barcode is identical on all 12 boxes and the line printed under the square is a production code, so neither tells you who is inside.
