About the set LEGO Minifigures Series 29

LEGO Minifigures Series 29 (71052) checklist: all 12 figures, including Lloyd as the Mysterious Ronin and Tahu, plus the box codes to scan.

LEGO Minifigures Series 29 — set 71052, also called CMF Series 29 — is a run of 12 collectible minifigures, each sealed in its own box. It launched worldwide on 1 May 2026 at £3.49 a box. LEGO.com UK still had it in stock at that price on 17 October 2026, having flagged it as “Retiring soon” on 12 October. The ColleX catalogue lists all 12 minifigures. The full checklist, in LEGO.com’s own names: Robot T. rex, Marine Biologist, Bionicle Cosplayer, Monster Hunter, Boba Cup Fan, Trash Monster, Chocolatier, Tuba Player, Soccer Goalkeeper (Football Goalkeeper in Jay’s Brick Blog and BrickOwl), Cute Witch, Mysterious Ronin and Unicorn Elf. Two of them look back at older LEGO themes. LEGO never calls the Mysterious Ronin Lloyd, but Jay’s Brick Blog and Blocks magazine both identify the warrior with the golden katana as the green ninja from Ninjago, while the Bionicle Cosplayer is dressed as Tahu, the Toa of fire, and carries a Bionicle canister. The series also brought new pieces: the Tuba Player’s tuba, the goalkeeper’s ball, the Cute Witch’s grey cat, the Marine Biologist’s clownfish and the Monster Hunter’s blade-pistol. You don’t need to open a box to know who is inside. Scan the square Data Matrix code on the bottom, to the right of the barcode — many collectors call it the QR code — and the first seven digits of the result identify the minifigure. The line printed under the square is a production code, and the EAN barcode 5702018066980 is the same on all 12 boxes, so neither tells you the figure. Codes vary by region or production run, which is why every figure has at least two; all of them are in the Box codes table below, checked against BrickNav and Minifigure Scanner on 17 October 2026. Whether a Series 29 box can be felt or weighed instead, how many full sets a box of 36 is expected to hold and where to buy the series in the UK are covered in our LEGO Series 29 codes guide.
