Shrek
Shrek (71053-4) leads LEGO Minifigures Shrek Series: the ogre in his tan burlap shirt, with a separate skirt piece hanging under the belt and patterned brown trousers. His large head, with a wide grin, juts forward on a long neck.
In ColleX collections, 11 collectors have it and 6 are looking for it.

About this item
The storybook
His accessory is a fairy-tale book: a cover plus two printed page tiles you can swap, one starting “Once upon a time” (BrickOwl, The Brick Fan, The Brothers Brick). BrickBanter points out that the shirt and skirt also work for ordinary medieval peasants.
Too big a head?
The Brick Fan and BrickBanter make the same complaint: the head is oversized for a skinny torso with no belly, so it sits too far forward. Readers of Jay’s Brick Blog said much the same about LEGO’s first photos in July 2026.

FAQ
Is the CMF Shrek the same as the one in set 72423?+
No. In 72423 Shrek, Donkey & Puss in Boots (June 2026) Shrek and Donkey are large buildable figures (BrickBanter, Jay’s Brick Blog); this Shrek is a minifigure from the 71053 blind boxes, and Donkey here comes with Fiona instead.
What is the LEGO Shrek minifigure’s BrickLink number?+
colshr-4 with the book and stand, colshr04 for the minifigure alone. BrickOwl and ColleX number him 71053-4, the fourth of 12.
