LEGO Minifigures Series 27 — set 71048, known to collectors as CMF Series 27 — is a run of 12 collectible minifigures, one per sealed cardboard box. It came out on 1 January 2025 (Jay's Brick Blog, The Brothers Brick), the first Collectible Minifigures series of that year. The ColleX catalogue lists all 12. The checklist in LEGO's order, 71048-1 to 71048-12: Hamster Costume Fan, Wolfpack Beastmaster, Jetpack Racer, Astronomer Kid, Plush Toy Collector, Pterodactyl Costume Fan, Longboarder, Bogeyman, Cupid, Pirate Quartermaster, Cat Lover and Steampunk Inventor. The Brothers Brick headlined its review “more for the fans”, and the deep cuts are easy to spot: the Wolfpack Beastmaster carries the wolf crest of the outlaws from 1992 LEGO Castle and brings a new grey wolf, while the Jetpack Racer wears the Octan logo on his legs. Other new elements include the Pirate Quartermaster's cockatoo, the Cat Lover's Turkish Angora cat and yarn ball, the Longboarder's longboard, Cupid's wings and the Astronomer Kid's prosthetic arm. To find a figure without opening the box, scan the square Data Matrix code on the bottom — most collectors call it the QR code. The first seven digits of the result identify the minifigure: 6522981 or 6522993, for example, is the Wolfpack Beastmaster. Codes differ by region — Jay's Brick Blog's scanner handles US, UK and EU boxes separately, and BrickNav lists three regional sets of codes for 71048 — so every figure here carries the two numbers that BrickNav and Minifigure Scanner both confirm (20 October 2026).
