About this item
An Octan nod
Octan, LEGO's fictional fuel brand, first appeared on a 1992 petrol station (The Brothers Brick), and Jay's Brick Blog, The Brothers Brick and Merlin's Bricks all spot it on the racer's legs. Jay's Brick Blog traces the figure's concept back to the LEGO Vidiyo theme.
The weak spot
The jetpack is a small brick-built assembly, and all three reviews find it the least exciting part. The head has a confident grin on one side and a mouth mask on the other.

FAQ
What is the Jetpack Racer box code?+
The racer's box scans as 6522986 or 6522998 (BrickNav and Minifigure Scanner, 20 October 2026); inside are the figure and the jetpack parts to build.
Is the Jetpack Racer's helmet a new piece?+
Jay's Brick Blog says the helmet moulds were reused from another LEGO theme, but the trans-red glass running over the top is new to this figure. The Brothers Brick and Merlin's Bricks single out the helmet as its best feature.
