Hirono × Le Petit Prince: all 14 figures, the Pilot and super secret

As of 4 November 2026. Hirono × Le Petit Prince Series Figures is POP MART’s series based on Antoine de Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince. POP MART gives 25 October as the release date, and the book’s rights holder announced the worldwide launch on 28 October 2024. There are 14 figures: 12 regular characters and two hidden ones, the Pilot and a special edition of the Little Prince. All 14, with Have and Want marks, are in the Hirono × Le Petit Prince set.
The Little Prince meets Hirono
The Little Prince travelled from planet to planet and never quite understood the strange grown-ups he met. Hirono, with his permanently serious, pensive look, would surely have had questions for them too. The character was created by the artist Lang, and the figures are made by POP MART.
Instead of simply shrinking the book’s characters, the designers had Hirono play them. He becomes the King in a golden crown, the Geographer with books stacked on his head, and the Fox — or rather, the boy the Fox wraps in its bushy tail.

The strange grown-ups of the small planets
In the book the prince visits a string of tiny planets, each home to a grown-up so absorbed in his own business that he barely notices the world. Six figures come from these visits.
The King wears a crown and a grand star-spangled robe. The Businessman sits in a suit with an adding machine, busy with his sums. The Geographer reads a book with a whole pile of others balanced on his head. The Conceited Man has an enormous hat, and The Tippler sits by his barrel.
The Lamplighter stands out: his head is inside a street lamp, and he carries a small lantern and a long pole for lighting the flame. In the book he lights and puts out his lamp over and over, obeying an order that no longer makes sense — and the prince says he is the only one of these grown-ups who does not seem ridiculous, because he thinks of something other than himself.
On Earth the prince meets two more grown-ups, and both are in the series: The Switchman with a red flag and a STOP sign, and The Merchant holding a pill — in the book he sells pills that quench thirst.
The Fox, the Rose, the Snake and what really matters
The Fox is the most unusual figure: the red fox lies curled over Hirono’s head and shoulders like a warm scarf, leaving only part of his face visible — a fitting picture for the friendship at the heart of the book. The Rose turns Hirono into the red flower, its petals forming a hood and its thorny stem winding round a white dress. The Little Prince himself, in a green suit, yellow scarf and red cape, holds a glass dome with the rose inside; the base of the dome reads B-612, the number of his asteroid. The Snake, the first creature the prince meets on Earth, is a golden snake coiled round Hirono’s shoulders, with a red apple on his head.

The Pilot: the secret who tells the story
The Pilot (Secret) wears a leather flying helmet with goggles and a small propeller. According to the book’s rights holder (lepetitprince.com) and sellers, he turns up in 1 box in 72. The choice is fitting: in the book the pilot is the narrator, who meets the Little Prince after a forced landing in the Sahara — and Saint-Exupéry was himself an aviator.

The super secret Little Prince
The Little Prince-Special Edition (Super Secret) is the rarer of the two: 1 box in 144, according to the rights holder and sellers. POP MART’s product page gives no odds and says only that the chance of a secret varies from set to set. Unlike the regular figure with the rose under glass, this prince reaches up to a white cloud tied to a string, a red rose growing at his feet, standing on a small rocky base. It is a separate sculpt, not a repaint.

Can you collect all 14?
The series is sold in blind boxes: you only see which character you got once the box is open. POP MART also sells a set of 12 boxes with no repeats, but if a secret turns up in it, it replaces one of the regulars. The 1 in 72 and 1 in 144 odds are averages, not a promise after a given number of boxes, so trading duplicates or hunting for specific opened figures is often the practical route. On ColleX you can keep the Hirono × Le Petit Prince checklist, mark what you have and find collectors with the figures you are missing. The figures stand 8–12 cm (3.15–4.72 in) tall, are made of PVC, ABS, metal and magnets and are marked not suitable for under-15s. Hirono plays book heroes in another series too: Hirono × Harry Potter.
