The Switchman
The Switchman is one of the grown-ups the Little Prince meets on Earth: he sorts travellers and sends trains off to the right and left, and the people inside, he says, do not know what they are looking for. Hirono, in work overalls, holds a red flag, wears a railway signal lamp on his head and has a STOP sign at his feet, on a base that looks like railway track.
