The Rose
The Rose is the only flower on the Little Prince’s planet — proud and demanding, yet she is the reason he sets out, and the one he wants to return to. Hirono peers out of a red bud like a hood, green sepals on his shoulders and a thorny stem winding round a white dress. The four thorns the Rose boasted about in the book have become a prickly stem curling round the figure.
