The Snake
The Snake is the first creature the Little Prince meets on Earth, in the desert. It speaks in riddles and promises to help him go home when he misses his planet. Here a fair-haired Hirono in a blue shirt stands on a sandy base, a golden snake coiled round his shoulders and neck and a red apple balanced on his head.
