The Lamplighter

The Lamplighter lives on the smallest planet, which turns so fast that he lights and puts out his lamp without rest, because those are his orders. Hirono’s head sits inside a street lamp; he wears a brown jacket and striped top, with a small lantern in one hand and a long lighting pole in the other. Of all the grown-ups, he is the only one the prince does not find ridiculous, because he thinks of something other than himself.
