Lips, fin and tail in one piece
The headpiece is dual-moulded in orange and bright light orange, so the lips, dorsal fin and tail are moulded rather than printed, and it runs all the way down the back (Jay’s Brick Blog, New Elementary). The Brick Fan thinks it looks more like a koi than a goldfish.
An odd one, by design
The box scans as 6584392 or 6584379 — BrickNav and Minifigure Scanner list the same two numbers (18 October 2026). Jay’s Brick Blog called it one of the more jarring designs in the series, and liked it for exactly that.

FAQ
Can the LEGO Goldfish hold its fish food?+
No. The fish food — a printed 1×1 round brick with a lid — has nowhere to go, because the fin arms can’t grip it, as Jay’s Brick Blog points out.
How is the Goldfish different from the Dolphin?+
Both headpieces run into a tail, but the Goldfish has the two-tone lips and fish food, while the Dolphin is light blue and holds a clam shell with a pearl.
