LEGO Minifigures Series 24 (2023)

LEGO Minifigures Series 24 (71037) checklist: all 12 figures from January 2023, the Brown Astronaut and Spacebaby, Falconer and Orc, and why there is no code to scan.

LEGO Minifigures Series 24 — set 71037 — opened 2023 for the Collectible Minifigures (CMF) line: 12 characters with no shared theme, on sale from 1 January 2023, each sealed in a magenta foil blind bag with its accessories and a black stand (Jay’s Brick Blog, The Brothers Brick). When we checked LEGO.com on 20 October 2026, the set was marked as retired. The ColleX catalogue lists all 12 positions. The Series 24 checklist, numbered 71037-1 to 71037-12 as on LEGO.com and BrickLink: Football Referee, Robot Warrior, Brown Astronaut and Spacebaby, Carrot Mascot, Falconer, T-Rex Costume Fan, Orc, Conservationist, Potter, Rococo Aristocrat, Rockin’ Horse Rider and Newspaper Kid. Because the brown spaceman and his baby share a bag, a complete set is 13 minifigures. Much of the wave looks back at classic themes. The Brown Astronaut adds brown to the official Classic Space colours, and the Spacebaby wears a matching helmet with air tanks. The Falconer carries the Black Falcons crest and the first real LEGO falcon, while the Orc’s oval shield revives the orc emblem of the Fantasy Era Castle line. The Rococo Aristocrat brings back the wide skirt piece last seen on the Series 15 Queen in 2016, and the Conservationist — a nod to Steve Irwin — comes with a koala clinging to a eucalyptus sprig (Jay’s Brick Blog, The Brothers Brick). There is no Series 24 codes list, because there were no codes. The foil bags carried no figure number, and the square Data Matrix code that a scanner app reads only arrived with Series 25 (71045) in January 2024; cardboard boxes had replaced bags a few months earlier with Marvel Studios Series 2 (71039) (Brick Fanatics, 15 January 2024; Wikipedia). Series 24 figures could only be identified by feel. Nor are any of them rare: a sealed 36-bag case holds exactly three complete sets of 12 (Jay’s Brick Blog, The Brothers Brick).
