LEGO Minifigures Series 19 (2019)

LEGO Minifigures Series 19 (71025), September 2019: the 16 names from the Video Game Champ to the Mountain Biker, Johnny Thunder as the Jungle Explorer, and how a 60-bag box splits.

LEGO Minifigures Series 19 (set 71025) went on sale on 1 September 2019 with 16 figures and no common theme, so a gamer, a mummy, a rugby player and a monkey king share one checklist (Jay’s Brick Blog, The Brick Fan, Wikipedia). It came straight after the 17-figure party wave of Series 18, and every figure was sealed in a blind bag with a black stand and a leaflet. Two figures reach back into LEGO’s own past, and a third may. The Jungle Explorer, with his wide-brimmed hat, magnifying glass and chameleon, is Johnny Thunder of the 1998 Adventurers theme brought back, and the Fright Knight carries the emblem of the Fright Knights castle line (The Brothers Brick, Jay’s Brick Blog, Eurobricks). Jay’s Brick Blog and Brickset read a Blacktron logo on the Galactic Bounty Hunter’s armour, while The Brothers Brick thinks it is simply armour worn back to front. The Monkey King wields a red-and-gold staff, and the Dog Sitter brings two dogs, a dachshund and a bulldog. No figure is short-packed. The Brothers Brick and a Eurobricks reviewer each found three complete sets plus 12 extras in a 60-bag case, although Jay’s Brick Blog warns that distribution could be uneven and some cases fell short of three full sets. Minifigure Scanner has a Series 19 page but no codes on it (21 October 2026), so the bags are sorted by feel — The Brick Fan posted a guide on 17 August 2019 and The Brothers Brick on 19 September 2019. The bicycle and the flamingo give away the Mountain Biker and the Gardener (The Brick Fan, Jay’s Brick Blog), while The Brick Fan calls the Mummy Queen one of the hardest to pick out by feel.
