LEGO Minifigures Series 13, set 71008, arrived at the turn of the year: Wikipedia dates it December 2014, The Brick Fan gave 1 January 2015 as the start at LEGO Stores and LEGO's online shop, and by 11 January Jay's Brick Blog was seeing bags at Target. Its green bags sit somewhere between the shades of Series 3 and Series 11 (Jay's Brick Blog, Eurobricks), and there are 16 characters inside them. The Classic King wears a gold crown and a two-layer red-and-white cloth cape (Eurobricks, The Brick Fan). The Lady Cyclops was introduced by LEGO's own character profile as company for the one-eyed Cyclops of Series 9 (Jay's Brick Blog, The Brick Fan). The fan favourite before release was the Hot Dog Man, a man zipped into a sausage-in-a-bun costume (The Brick Fan, Jay's Brick Blog), and a 60-bag case held only three of him, the same as the Unicorn Girl, Lady Cyclops, Paleontologist, Fencer, Samurai and Disco Diva. The Goblin, Carpenter and Galaxy Trooper came five per case (Jay's Brick Blog, The Brick Fan). The code printed on the back of each Series 13 checklist was an entry for LEGO's Collect & Win promotion: every code was a chance in weekly draws for LEGO sets during January and February 2015, and it also unlocked the figure in LEGO Minifigures Online (Jay's Brick Blog, The Brick Fan, Eurobricks). The draws are long over, and the code never revealed which figure was in the bag.
