Fozzie Bear

Fozzie Bear (71033-7) is the hapless stand-up comic of LEGO Minifigures The Muppets, the bear who ends every joke with “Wocka wocka!”. His hat is sculpted into the head, so it does not come off (The Brothers Brick).

About this item

Mic stand and banana

He takes the stage with a nightclub-style microphone stand and a banana (The Brothers Brick, New Elementary, Jay’s Brick Blog). Jay’s Brick Blog links the banana to one of Fozzie’s best-known routines, the Banana Sketch, while New Elementary notes that neither accessory is a new part.

Heckled from the box

On the show Fozzie is the favourite target of Statler and Waldorf, who are both in the series (Jay’s Brick Blog, Wikipedia). His legs reuse Rowlf’s fur print (New Elementary). To find him, feel for the thin rod of the stand or its dish-shaped base (Jay’s Brick Blog).

No, it is moulded as part of the head; The Brothers Brick wished it came off. Jay’s Brick Blog gave the figure 3 out of 5.
