Kinder Joy Stranger Things codes: all 24 toys and the rarest one

Rarity list: which toy is the rarest?

There is no official rarity list: Kinder publishes no odds and no print runs, and "rare" in a listing is the seller's word. What you can compare are two independent measures — how many collectors already own a piece and what collector shops charge for it — both put Will VC259 first and Will Upside Down VC260 second. Shops also charge more for three other pieces, although on ColleX they are owned about as often as the rest (25 October 2026):

Every other piece is owned by 342 to 399 ColleX collectors and mostly costs €0.95–3.99. The shop prices are from ue-ei-punkt.de and eierlei-shop.de in Germany and astrocollection.it in Italy; if you have bought the eggs or the toys in the US, tell us what you paid in the comments. The leaflet matters: eierlei-shop.de sells Will VC259 for €19.99 with the leaflet and €8.99 without, and calls it "SELTEN" — rare — in the product name. The same shop lists the complete set of 24 for €39.99.

Same codes in the USA? About "S0", "S1", "G1R" and "A2A"

Yes, as far as Kinder's own pages show. On 25 October 2026 the Kinder USA collection page listed the same 24 pieces under the same names, from Will and Will Upside Down to Zipper Deco Eleven, and its image files carry the same codes, VC259 to VC356. So the list above works for American and European eggs alike.

People also search for codes such as S0, S1, G1R and A2A. We have found no official or collector-database source that explains what they mean, so we do not match them to toys. The VC code on the leaflet is the one that identifies the toy. If you know how the other codes work, tell us in the comments.

Where the eggs have been confirmed

Ferrero's release named no stores, no price and no end date. For the UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland and India we have no data — if you have seen the eggs in a shop there, tell us in the comments or send a photo.

Upside Down versions: how to tell them apart

On Ferrero's official images the Upside Down minis are an iridescent purple-blue — that is the "blue Will" people ask about, Will Upside Down VC260. The exception is Max Upside Down, VC266, which is red. The safest check is still the code: within each pair it differs by one, VC259 and VC260 for Will, VC267 and VC268 for Steve. Hopper also gives himself away: the regular one wears his hat, the Upside Down one does not.

Will comes with a cord: the VC259 leaflet shows him hanging from a backpack and paired with Will Upside Down.

Not confirmed: the blue Demogorgon VC271B and the leaflet letters

The blue Demogorgon people ask about comes from a single report. On 18 August 2026 the German collector site Unser-Sammler-Team described a "new variant": a blue Demogorgon with the code VC271B. According to the site, Ferrero USA handed it out in July 2026 at a large two-day Funko convention in the US, where visitors got a limited Demogorgon card and a Kinder Joy egg that always held this Demogorgon with its own VC271B leaflet. We have found no second source and no confirmation from Ferrero, so VC271B is not one of the 24 pieces; the regular Demogorgon VC271 is in the table above.

The same site wrote on 27 March 2026 that the leaflets are numbered 1 to 10, with leaflets 1–5 spelling out Henry and 6–10 spelling Creel — Henry Creel being Vecna's real name. We have no second source; if you have numbered leaflets, send us a photo. We will update this section once either report is confirmed or ruled out.

More Stranger Things on ColleX

The Stranger Things Happy Meal of 2026 — 12 Hawkins buildings with figures, in the US from 5 May — and the Stranger Things Box, six McDonald's figures from Spain and Portugal in 2025, are separate sets. Monogram's Stranger Things Figural Bag Clips, Series 5, have their own set too. Every other Kinder Joy collection sold in the US this year is in Kinder Joy toys 2026 in the USA, and what the two letters in a VC code mean is explained in our guide to Kinder VC codes.

Frequently asked questions

What are the Kinder Joy Stranger Things codes?
VC259–VC269, VC271, VC273–VC277, VC283–VC288 and VC356: 24 codes in all. The code is printed on the leaflet inside the capsule, and a character's regular and Upside Down versions have neighbouring codes, such as Will VC259 and VC260.

What is the rarest Kinder Joy Stranger Things toy?
Kinder does not name one. By the data on 25 October 2026, it is Will VC259: on ColleX 255 of 557 collectors of the set have him and 92 want him, and collector shops in Germany and Italy ask €19.99–25. Will Upside Down VC260 comes next.

Are the codes the same in the USA and Europe?
Yes. Kinder's US collection page shows the same 24 pieces, and its images are filed under the same codes, VC259 to VC356. We found no official explanation for the "S0", "S1" or "G1R" codes people search for; if you know what they mean, tell us in the comments.

Is there a blue Demogorgon in Kinder Joy Stranger Things?
Not officially confirmed. According to one German collector site, Unser-Sammler-Team (18 August 2026), a blue Demogorgon coded VC271B was given out by Ferrero USA at a Funko convention in July 2026, not in store eggs. Ferrero has not confirmed it.

How many toys are in the Kinder Joy Stranger Things collection?
24: fourteen character minis and ten accessories — zipper clips, phone holders, cable clips and pencil toppers. All 24 count towards the complete set on ColleX.

Can I trade duplicate Kinder Joy Stranger Things toys on ColleX?
Mark them as "Have" with a quantity of 2 or more in the Kinder Joy Stranger Things set and the pieces you still need as "Want". ColleX shows collectors whose spares and wants match yours, you agree the swap in chat, and duplicates can also be offered where the ColleX Market is open in your country.
