Golden Luffy Kinder Joy price: what gold and chrome Luffy are worth
As of 20 October 2026. The golden Luffy from Kinder Joy One Piece is a cheap figure. Collector shops in Germany and Italy sell it for €3.49–5.50, and most Vinted listings ask €1–3. Among the gold Luffys, the one that costs real money is a different piece: the chrome Luffy, code VS513A, also sold as "Luffy Gold Special", for which sellers ask €175–430. Sellers write the matte one as golden Luffy, gold Luffy or "Goldener Ruffy"; it is the same figure. Below are the prices by marketplace, what the three codes mean and what is known about rarity.
Golden Luffy price in October 2026
| Where | Price | Sample |
|---|---|---|
| Collector shops (Germany, Italy) | €3.49–5.50 | 5 shop listings, 20 Oct 2026 |
| Vinted (vinted.de, .it, .es) | €1–40, median €1.75–2 | 3 searches of 63–68 listings, 76–85% at €3 or less |
| ColleX market, euro listings | €1.50–10, median €4.48 | 16 listings, 1–20 Oct 2026 |
These are asking prices. eBay's sold listings cannot be opened without logging in, so they are not in the table. The only public sale we know of was reported by the German site onlinemarktplatz.de on 20 September 2026: a trade seller had sold six for €12.12 each in early September. Today's shop prices are well below that. The ColleX page for golden Luffy VS504 shows the current median of collector shops.
How rare is golden Luffy?
Not rare by any official measure. Kinder Germany lists "Goldener Ruffy" among the 23 surprises in the series without calling it rare or limited, and Kinder gives neither print runs nor odds. Onlinemarktplatz.de makes the same point: "rare" and "secret" are sellers' words, not Ferrero's.
ColleX data are not odds, but they show how many are around: on 20 October 2026, 1,229 of the 1,693 collectors tracking this set on ColleX had marked golden Luffy as "Have". The chrome VS513A is another story: 22 have it, 653 want it.
VS504, VS513 and VS513A: three codes
The code is printed on the paper leaflet that comes in the capsule with the figure.
| Code | What it is | Counts for 100% on ColleX |
|---|---|---|
| VS504 | golden Luffy, matte gold | yes |
| VS513 | the same golden Luffy, second code | yes |
| VS513A | chrome Luffy, mirror finish | no, bonus entry |
According to the German collector site Eierlei (18 September 2026), the mould is always the same and only the leaflet code differs. Sources disagree about the finish: Everyeye (17 October 2026) calls VS513 the "matte/satin" one, and the ToySwap wiki describes VS513 as darker and satin and VS504 as lighter and glossier, while photos of both from the German shop ue-ei-punkt show the same matte gold. Lighting changes the shade, so the code is the only safe check. Nobody, Kinder included, explains why there are two codes. Both turn up in German, Italian and French catalogues. The Kinder Joy One Piece checklist has every figure in the series with its code.
Chrome Luffy (Luffy Gold Special) price
VS513A is not a third matte figure but a chrome version: Eierlei calls it the "chrome-gold version with the extended code VS513A", the French database kinders.arnapou.net "Luffy doré brillant", the Italian shop astrocollection.it "Luffy Oro Speciale". It is not among Kinder's 23 surprises.
| Where | Price | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Vinted, VS513A in the title | €400 and €430 | 2 listings, 20 Oct 2026 |
| Vinted, no code in the title | €599 | seller says it was bought in Germany |
| ColleX market, Germany | €175 | 1 listing, October 2026 |
| Shops in Italy | €95 and €30 | both out of stock; no code on the second |
We have not seen a completed sale at these prices. Everyeye (17 October 2026) puts it at €80–100 without naming a marketplace.
How to tell golden Luffy from regular Luffy and Wanted
- Regular Luffy (VS331) is painted: yellow hat with a red band, red waistcoat, black hair.
- Golden Luffy is a full figure in one matte gold colour, hat and face included.
- Luffy "Wanted" (VS329) is Luffy inside a bounty-poster frame. Listings sometimes call it "Wanted Gold", but it is a different piece.
- Chrome Luffy reflects like a mirror.
When buying, ask for a photo of the figure next to its leaflet. Golden Luffy also comes with a "Wanted" card, as ue-ei-punkt's photos and sellers' listings show. A shiny Luffy without a leaflet does not prove it is VS513A. We found no reports of fakes in the sources we read.
Unconfirmed: chrome Luffy only at events?
Everyeye wrote on 18 September 2026 that the Luffy Gold Special would not be in the eggs but given out at special events. On 8 October 2026 it reported that nobody in Italy had yet found one in an egg and that collectors were talking about a Lucca Comics & Games 2026 exclusive, adding that nothing is certain. We have found no official confirmation.
Frequently asked questions
How much is a golden Luffy from Kinder Joy worth?
A few euros. On 20 October 2026 collector shops in Germany and Italy charged €3.49–5.50, and the median Vinted listing was €1.75–2. Listings at €15 and up exist but are rare and are asking prices.
How rare is golden Luffy in Kinder Joy?
Kinder does not call it rare and gives no odds or print run. On ColleX, 1,229 of the 1,693 collectors tracking the set have it. The chrome VS513A is far less common there: 22 have it, 653 want it.
What is the difference between VS504 and VS513?
The code on the leaflet; Eierlei says the mould is the same. Some sources describe VS513 as darker and satin, but photos often show no difference. On ColleX both count towards 100%.
How much is the chrome Luffy Gold Special VS513A?
There is no settled price yet. Sellers ask €400 and €430 on Vinted and €175 in one ColleX listing, and two Italian shops list it at €95 and €30, both out of stock.
Can I swap a duplicate golden Luffy on ColleX?
Set it to "Have" with a quantity of 2 or more in the Kinder Joy One Piece set and mark the figures you still need as "Want". ColleX shows collectors whose spares and wants match yours, you agree the swap in chat, and duplicates can also be offered where the ColleX Market is open in your country.
