Adult Happy Meal UK list, 2025–2026
- A Minecraft Movie Meal — from Wednesday 26 March 2025; one of six collectibles.
- The Grinch Meal — from Wednesday 26 November 2025, UK and Ireland; mismatched Grinch socks.
- Friends Meal — from Tuesday 3 February 2026; one of six figures.
- FIFA World Cup meal — Tuesday 9 June to 13 July 2026; one of six cups.
All four dates come from McDonald's UK press releases, read in the Internet Archive on 13 October 2026. The three most recent meals were built on a Big Mac, 9 Chicken McNuggets or a McPlant. The children's Happy Meal is a separate product: Happy Meal toys right now in the UK keeps track of its toys.
Friends Meal: six figures, four mugs to win
Eastern Eye called this one “the ultimate adult Happy Meal”. It launched nationwide on Tuesday 3 February 2026, and every medium or large Friends Meal held one of six figures: Ross, Rachel, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler or Joey. On how long it would last, the press release says only “while supplies last”. Customers who bought the meal through the app could also win a set of four Friends mugs. On ColleX the six figures and the mugs share one list, McDonald's Friends Meal figures.
FIFA World Cup cups: six designs, handed out at random
The summer 2026 meal swapped figures for cups. From Tuesday 9 June until 13 July 2026, a medium or large meal in UK and Irish restaurants came with one of six collectible cups. The release names David Beckham, Ronaldinho Gaucho and Thierry Henry; the worldwide line-up adds Lamine Yamal, Heung-Min Son and Grimace. Choosing was not part of the deal: “One collectable cup allocated randomly.” The cups have a ColleX list of their own: FIFA World Cup 2026 cups. The Happy Meal that summer carried a different collection, Squishmallows in football shirts.
Minecraft and the Grinch: the two meals of 2025
A Minecraft Movie Meal arrived on Wednesday 26 March 2025 with what the release called an exclusive collectible “crafted for adults”: McDonald's characters, blockified. The worldwide set has six — Big Mac Crystal, Birdie Wings, Fry Helmet, Grimace Egg, Soda Potion and Zombie Hamburglar — each with a card and a code for a skin in the Minecraft Marketplace, according to McDonald's in the US. On ColleX the six have a set of their own, Minecraft Movie Meal collectibles.
The Grinch Meal followed on Wednesday 26 November 2025 in all UK and Ireland restaurants. Its keepsake was clothing: each meal included limited-edition mismatched Grinch socks, next to gherkin-seasoned McShaker Fries.
The same collections outside the UK
Germany had its Friends Menü from 16 October to 12 November 2025, Ukraine from 26 November 2025, Poland from 4 February 2026 and Italy from 18 February; Spain went first, with a Friends Box on 8 October 2024. The cup line-up grew abroad as well: seven cups in Canada, nine in the United States and, from 18 June 2026, a Bastian Schweinsteiger cup in Germany.
Spain and Portugal had one more adult box, the Stranger Things Box of November 2025, with one of six blind-packed figures: Eleven, Mike, Lucas, Dustin, Will and the Demogorgon; Dexerto also names Argentina, and Merca2.0 dates the Latin American launch to 18 November 2025. They are listed in Stranger Things Box figures.
