McDonald's World Cup cups 2026 (FIFA World Cup Meal)

McDonald's World Cup cups 2026: the 6 FIFA World Cup Meal cups — Beckham, Ronaldinho, Henry, Son, Yamal, Grimace — plus 5 country-only cups to tick off.

The McDonald's World Cup cups are the collectible cups that came with the FIFA World Cup 26 Meal in summer 2026. In the UK and Ireland the meal ran from Tuesday 9 June until 13 July 2026, with “one of six star-studded collectible cups” in every medium or large meal — “One collectable cup allocated randomly”, as McDonald's UK put it in its June 2026 press release. That release names David Beckham, Ronaldinho Gaucho and Thierry Henry; McDonald's global announcement lists all six: Beckham, Ronaldinho Gaúcho, Henry, Heung-Min Son, Lamine Yamal and Grimace. How the cups follow the UK’s earlier adult meals — Minecraft, the Grinch and Friends — is laid out in our guide to adult Happy Meals in the UK. How many cups there are depends on where you ate. Six is the worldwide line-up, and McDonald's confirmed the same six for Germany, Poland, Italy, Switzerland and Ukraine, and CB News lists them for France. Canada had seven: the six plus Canada captain Alphonso Davies, from 9 June. The United States had nine from 4 June, adding Davies, Christian Pulisic and Santiago Giménez. Two more cups were single-country releases: Bastian Schweinsteiger in Germany from 18 June, and Xherdan Shaqiri in Switzerland, handed out with “Shaqiri's McDeals” on Swiss match days. Each cup is an illustrated portrait. On McDonald's own renders Ronaldinho wears a yellow shirt with the number 10, Henry a blue kit with the number 12 and Grimace a yellow jersey with a large 12, while Son frames his face with his fingers and Beckham is mid-shout. McDonald's Switzerland says all of its cups are made from recycled plastic (press release, 2 June 2026), which settles the “glass or plastic” question for the Swiss set; people also search for them as World Cup glasses. The McDonald's releases we read for the UK, the US, Canada, Germany and Switzerland give no cup numbering, codes or rarity order. End dates differ by country: 13 July 2026 in the UK, 19 July in Germany and Poland, 20 July in France and 7 August in Ukraine. The ColleX catalogue has 6 entries in the set count and 5 country cups listed below them — Davies, Pulisic, Giménez, Schweinsteiger and Shaqiri — each with the countries where McDonald's released it. The Squishmallows in football shirts are a different collection, from the Happy Meal of the same tournament. Mark the cups you already own and the list shows which of the six are still missing.
