About this item
Beard or no beard
Two heads come in the box, both double-sided — a battle-scarred female face and a bearded male one — so you get four expressions in all (The Brothers Brick). Jay’s Brick Blog reads the combination of a feminine hairpiece and a bearded head as a nod to the fantasy joke that you tell dwarves apart by their beards. A horn is printed on the back; The Brothers Brick wonders if it is the Horn of Valhalla, which summons a berserker.
Dwarf Barbarian codes
On UK and EU boxes the Data Matrix scan reads 6502839 or 6506740, the two codes Jay’s Brick Blog and Minifigure Scanner agree on (checked 20 October 2026). The axe head is new for 2024: besides the usual 3.18 mm rod hole it has a stud on top and an anti-stud underneath, which gives builders more ways to attach it (The Brothers Brick).

FAQ
What is the Dwarf Barbarian BrickLink number?+
BrickLink lists the complete figure with stand and accessories as coldnd-1, and BrickOwl and LEGO’s own numbering use 71047-1. It is the first figure in the D&D series checklist.
Does the LEGO Dwarf Barbarian come as male or female?+
Both. The hairpiece is the female dwarf’s, and a second, bearded head is included so you can build a male dwarf instead; each head has two printed expressions.
