About this item
A printed head, not a sculpt
Unlike most of the series, Jiminy uses a standard minifigure head with a printed face instead of a moulded one, which is why Jay’s Brick Blog gave him just 2 out of 5 despite liking his shoes. The umbrella is pink with a hooked handle.
Top hat mix-up
Both reviews warn that a top hat in the bag could be Jiminy or Dr Facilier. The hooked umbrella handle settles it — Facilier has a straight cane (Jay’s Brick Blog, DuckTalks). His charge, Pinocchio, is figure 71038-2.

FAQ
How do you tell Jiminy Cricket from Dr Facilier by feel?+
Both have a top hat, so feel for the second piece: Jiminy’s umbrella has a hooked handle, while Dr Facilier has a cane and a card tile (Jay’s Brick Blog, DuckTalks).
Why is the LEGO Jiminy Cricket rated low?+
Because he got a plain minifigure head with a printed face rather than a moulded head like Pinocchio’s. Jay’s Brick Blog gave him 2 out of 5.
