LEGO Minifigures The LEGO Batman Movie Series 2 (2018)

The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures Series 2 (71020), January 2018: all 20 figures, from Disco Harley Quinn to Black Vulcan, the Super Friends four and the Bat-logo stands.

LEGO followed the first Batman Movie wave with set 71020, The LEGO Batman Movie Collectible Minifigures Series 2, in early January 2018 — Wikipedia gives 1 January, The Brick Fan called it a surprise start-of-year release, and The Brothers Brick reviewed the figures as available on 8 January. It again has 20 figures, two of them versions of Alfred Pennyworth and two of Batgirl. The stands are new: every figure’s black base plate is printed with the Bat logo (The Brothers Brick, Jay’s Brick Blog). LEGO.com’s status for 71020 on 21 October 2026 was retired, and a third Batman Movie wave never came. Where Series 1 had five Batmans, Series 2 has two — Mermaid Batman with a tail and trident, and Swimsuit Batman with a lifeguard float and a dolphin. The rest of the cast is on holiday or at the disco: Disco Harley Quinn on roller skates, Disco Alfred Pennyworth with an electric guitar, Vacation The Joker in a rubber-duck ring, Vacation Robin with an ice cream and a boombox, Vacation Batgirl with a surfboard, Vacation Alfred Pennyworth, and Bat-Merch Batgirl with a pair of Bat-buck tiles. Four come from the Super Friends cartoon — Wonder Twin Jayna, Wonder Twin Zan, Apache Chief and Black Vulcan (Jay’s Brick Blog, The Brothers Brick). Clock King with clock-hand spears, Hugo Strange with two flasks, Killer Moth, Doctor Phosphorus with green flames, Jor-El with a crystal, General Zod and Black Canary with a microphone stand complete the list. The Brothers Brick couldn’t check a full case, so the split per 60-bag box rests on one source: Jay’s Brick Blog lists three complete sets per box, three of each figure, with no short-packed character. The same review gives a by-feel tell for each of the 20 figures.
