About this item
Formula 1’s own colours
There is no real-life basis for this car, Brick Fanatics explains; it is designed in Formula 1’s brand colours. Brickset counts it, with the F1 ACADEMY Car, as one of the two generically styled cars that round the ten team cars up to 12.
The F1 tile
Brick Fanatics singles out the printed F1 tile on the rear wing as a handy part for customising other Formula 1 builds, and says the mostly silver body is reminiscent of an older Mercedes.

FAQ
What team is the LEGO F1 Car?+
None — it wears Formula 1’s own colours rather than a team livery (Brick Fanatics, Brickset). With the F1 ACADEMY Car it completes the 12-car set.
How do I tell the F1 Car from the Mercedes-AMG?+
Both have silver noses, but the F1 Car has red rims, a black-and-red helmet and the F1 logo on the rear wing, while the Mercedes-AMG has teal rims and a teal helmet.
