The letter C
This ring carries the third letter of the alphabet, C, while its neighbour the flower ring (VT040B) only has B. For the 2024/2025 season surprix listed the butterfly as VT041A; which version had the letter B, or whether there was one at all, the sources don’t say.
A little box on your finger
According to Ferrero’s leaflet the butterfly ring works like the flower one: the top swings open and a note goes inside. The German collector catalogue Ü-Ei-Portal calls it “Schmetterling”, the surprix database “Butterfly” — much like the “Butterfly Box” (VT064A), so searching by code is safer.
