About this item
A shinobi from the Sand
Narutopedia introduces Gaara as a shinobi of Sunagakure who later became its Fifth Kazekage; Wikipedia calls him the son of the Fourth Kazekage. PMI still lists him in the same group as Team 7.
His link to Naruto
According to Narutopedia, Gaara was made host of the One-Tailed Shukaku before birth and grew up feared; it was his defeat by Naruto, a jinchūriki like himself, that changed him.
