About this item
Green, horns and thorns
Green is the colour of Maleficent's magic, and on the official render both her face and the frame around it are green. Thorny branches curl along the sides, a nod to the wall of thorns she raises around the castle in the film.
Sleeping Beauty or Maleficent?
FOX 10, Attractions Magazine and DesignRush tie the bucket to the 1959 animated Sleeping Beauty. Good Morning America mentions the live-action Maleficent (2014) as well, and People names only that film. The artwork itself is drawn, in the same style as the other four.
