About this item
A locomotive costume
The engine fits over the figure and rolls on red skateboard wheels, with a printed smokebox door at the front (Jay’s Brick Blog, The Brothers Brick). Jay’s Brick Blog counts it as LEGO’s fourth vehicle costume, after the aeroplane, the boat and the race car.
The eye patch
All three reviews we read mention the eye patch; Jay’s Brick Blog sees it as representation for children with amblyopia (lazy eye). He wears a light blue cap (Jay’s Brick Blog, The Brothers Brick).
