About this item
A nod to 375 Castle
The crown emblem on torso, armour and shield recreates 375 Castle from 1978 — the Yellow Castle, LEGO’s first (The Brothers Brick, Jay’s Brick Blog). “44 years apart”, as The Brothers Brick puts it.
Hobby horse
The horse head is a new miniature piece on a red stick, and the knight stands on shorter child legs (The Brothers Brick, Jay’s Brick Blog). The visor and sword are pearl gold, and the shield first appeared in 10305 Lion Knights’ Castle (The Brothers Brick). Jay’s Brick Blog put him at the top of its Series 23 favourites.
