About this item
The dinosaur with plates on its back
The real Stegosaurus lived at the end of the Jurassic, 155–145 million years ago, in what is now the western United States and Portugal. It was a four-legged plant-eater up to nine metres long, known for the plates on its back and the spikes on its tail.
Where the name comes from and where to look
The name Stegosaurus comes from the collector databases and the German shop eierlei-shop.de; Kinder publishes no names for this series, and the collector catalogue Ü-Ei-Portal did not have the stegosaurus yet on 5 October 2026. That day the figure was sold out at all three shops we checked: the listings remained, priced €7.95 (ue-ei-punkt.de), €3.99 (eierlei-shop.de) and €3.50 (astrocollection.it).
