About this item
Cheetah, not lion cub
The French database Bibelotmania captions VQB02 as “Lionceau” (lion cub), yet its own photo and the VQB02 leaflet show a spotted cub with tear marks, and the German Ue-Ei-Kat lists it as “Gepard”. Kinder’s real lion cub is the small VQ120 lion cub from Natoons baby animals — no spots, no tear lines.
The fastest of the five
The cheetah is built from several parts, with the back and tail fitted on last, and the leaflet shows its head moving up and down. Its fact card reads 16 cm, 100–250 g, eats meat, 80 km/h, the top speed in the set. For more spotted Natoons cats, see the VS228 jaguars from Savannah.

FAQ
Is Kinder VQB02 a cheetah or a lion cub?+
A cheetah. The toy and the VQB02 leaflet show a spotted cub with black tear lines; Bibelotmania’s “Lionceau” caption is a labelling mistake.
Is there a cheetah in the regular Natoons series?+
No. The only big cat in Kinder Natoons baby animals is the lion cub VQ120; the cheetah exists only in the Maxi egg.
