About this item
A citizen of the Mushroom Kingdom
Toads are the inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom, with a large mushroom-like head covered in coloured spots — that is how Wikipedia describes them. According to the Super Mario Wiki such characters were already in Super Mario Bros. in 1985, and Toad became a character in his own right in Super Mario Bros. 2 in 1988.
A paper clip, according to three shops
ue-ei-punkt.de calls VQ417 a “Paperclip”, eierlei-shop.de “Figur Toad als Büroklammer”, and the Italian shops a “graffetta”. On 5 October 2026, with leaflet, it cost €0.49 at eierlei and €1.95 at ue-ei-punkt; astrocollection.it had sold out (listing at €5.50). It was not on the series page of Kinder’s UK digital catalogue that day.
