About this item
The spiked shell
Spiny is a red Koopa with a shell covered in spikes: touching it from above hurts the hero. According to Wikipedia, Lakitu often throws them down at the player; according to the Super Mario Wiki, Spiny appeared in Super Mario Bros. in 1985.
“Prickly red shell”
Both German shops describe the toy in words — “Stacht roter Panzer” — and eierlei-shop.de adds “als Klammer”, “as a clip”. The Italian nonsolosorpresine.it sells it under the character’s Italian name, “Koopistrice”. On 5 October 2026, with leaflet, it cost €0.79 at eierlei, €1.49 at ue-ei-punkt.de and €2.30 at astrocollection.it.
