Terms of Use

ColleX is an online platform for collectors: track your collections, mark duplicates and wants, and find other collectors to trade with. By using the Platform you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

• Most features require an account. You agree to provide accurate details and keep them up to date.
• The Platform is intended for people aged 14 and over. Below that age, use it only with the consent of a parent or guardian.
• You are responsible for keeping access to your account safe and for everything done through it.

• do not publish abusive, unlawful, fraudulent or misleading content;
• do not use the Platform for spam, bulk messaging or automated harvesting of other people’s data;
• do not attempt to disrupt the service, bypass security limits or gain unauthorised access.

We may restrict or end access for an account that breaks these rules.

ColleX only provides the tools that let collectors find each other and agree on a trade. The Platform is not a party to any trade: it does not hold items, does not process payments and does not guarantee the condition, availability or delivery of anything.

• All details of a trade — the condition of the items, the shipping method and its cost, the timing — are agreed between the collectors themselves.
• Be careful: check who you are dealing with and agree on a safe way to hand items over. The risk of a trade stays with its parties.
• The trust rating and trade history are guidance, not a guarantee.

You keep the rights to what you publish (names, descriptions and photos of your own items). By publishing it you grant the Platform a non-exclusive right to display that content as part of running the service.

The Platform is provided “as is”. We work to keep it running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from trades between users or from the Platform being temporarily unavailable.

You can delete your account at any time in profile settings. We may update these Terms; the current version is always on this page. By continuing to use the Platform after a change, you accept the updated Terms.
