Caged Bird
Caged Bird is seventh in the lineup. Red-haired Hirono in a black-and-white striped top with a red sailor collar stands on a little stage between curtains, a large golden birdcage with a ring on top over his head. The cage door is open and swung aside. On the official photo paper birds fly above the stage, which makes the comparison with a bird that doesn’t dare to fly out almost unavoidable.

FAQ
What does Hirono Caged Bird mean?+
The author of our article points out that Hirono stands on his own feet and nobody has locked him in completely: sometimes the strongest cage is in our ideas of what we may allow ourselves. POP MART has published no official meaning.
Does the Caged Bird cage door open?+
On POP MART’s official photo the door is open. Whether it moves, the maker doesn’t say, and we have not taken the figure apart.
