Boiling Frog
Boiling Frog is fifth in the lineup. Red-haired Hirono in a green frog hood with round eyes sits in a reddish-brown pot over flames and logs. His eyes are closed, a bead of sweat runs down his cheek, his lips are pursed, and blue liquid spills over the rim. A yellow sticker on the pot says WARNING: HOT SURFACE.

FAQ
What does Hirono Boiling Frog mean?+
It refers to the story of a frog that doesn’t notice the water slowly coming to the boil. Biologists say a real frog would jump out, but as a metaphor for getting used to bad conditions it lives on. The author of our article reads the figure that way: the hero already looks exhausted, yet he is still sitting in his pot.
Is this the same Boiling Frog as in Hirono Little Mischief?+
No. HIRONO Little Mischief has its own figure with that name. The Tamed Wildgrass Boiling Frog came out in 2026: Hirono in a frog hood in a pot over a fire.
