Long wavy blonde hair, a black bicorne hat with gold trim, a black mask and a black dress with a gold sash and red-and-green flowers on the skirt.

For the Season 4 masquerade Penelope swaps her red waves for a long blonde wig, and her wide-brimmed hat helps her gather gossip for the Queen unseen: “I had the biggest hat at the ball,” says Nicola Coughlan (Netflix Tudum). In the book she went as a leprechaun; the show made her a pirate to match Colin.
