James
James is the only one-eyed minion among the KFC Minions & Monsters toys: a half-closed eye behind his goggle, a few black hairs on top and a dark film camera with a round lens held at his side. He is also the figure KFC chose to perch on the top edge of a smartphone in its campaign banner.

About this item
James the would-be director
On the KFC figure James holds a film camera, as KFC's official banner shows. In the film he is the dreamer of the group, more interested in telling stories than serving villains, and he pitches a monster movie of his own called “Minions & Monsters”. His best friend is Henry, the minion in the spotted cap.
A camera minion from Gumi Yum
ZURU's gummy-egg series has a one-eyed minion with a movie camera too — figure 1 of Gumi Yum Surprise Minions & Monsters. ZURU gives it no name, so whether it is meant to be James is not confirmed.
